This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use Globe Hop (the "App"). The App is provided by Lunar Aureola LLC ("we," "us," or "our").

By using the App, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the App.

1. Privacy Summary

The App:

does not require you to create an account;

provides maps, YouTube and Windy live-camera content, landmarks, 360-degree panoramas, world clocks, compass, traffic, and GPS Camera features;

uses Location Services, the camera, device sensors, and Photos access only when a feature needs them and after the relevant iOS authorization, where applicable;

processes camera images and selected location details on your device to create a photo result;

does not upload your precise Core Location coordinates, camera images, generated photos, city search text, or live compass degrees to our product analytics service;

uses Apple services, YouTube, Windy, Google Mobile Ads (AdMob), Meta App Events, and the service providers described below;

shows advertising and records limited app, feature, advertising, and diagnostic events needed to operate and measure the App; and

may request permission under Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework when required. Your choice is respected.

2. Information Handled by the App

2.1 Location, Direction, and Motion Information

With your permission, the App may access your location while you use a feature that needs it. Location and related device information may be used to center maps near you, display your position, request map or address information for GPS Camera, show traffic or location-related map features, and display coordinates, altitude, accuracy, distance, orientation, or direction on your device.

The App may use device sensors or direction information to display a compass. Landmark LiveCams are selected from landmark coordinates and live-provider results; they do not require us to upload your precise device location to our product analytics service.

We do not include precise latitude, longitude, a street address, or live compass degrees in Globe Hop analytics events. Apple and online providers may independently process network requests, map requests, approximate location inferred from an IP address, or other information under their own terms and privacy policies.

2.2 Camera and Photos

If you use GPS Camera, the App may access the camera after you grant permission. The App processes the camera image and selected template fields on your device. It writes a generated result to your Photos library only after you choose Save and grant the required Photos permission.

Globe Hop analytics events do not include camera images, generated photos, photo-library content, or thumbnail content. A generated photo may visibly contain location, time, coordinates, altitude, a map preview, or a Globe Hop watermark. Review it before sharing it with others.

2.3 App, Device, Feature, and Diagnostic Information

To operate, secure, measure, and improve the App, we or our service providers may process limited technical and event information, such as:

App name, App version, environment, event time, and an event or request identifier;

a device or installation identifier provided under the applicable platform or service rules;

page, feature, action, result, permission type and result, stable content IDs, live-provider type, and advertising scene identifiers;

advertising request, match, display, click, close, failure, and impression-level revenue information; and

IP address, device type, operating-system version, language, network information, error codes, and security or diagnostic information processed by network and service providers.

We do not put exact location, addresses, photos, album content, city search text, live compass degrees, playback URLs, credentials, advertising landing-page content, or the Windy API key in Globe Hop analytics events.

2.4 Information Stored on Your Device

The App may store minimal information locally, such as onboarding completion, preferences, and temporary technical state needed to display a feature. You can remove locally stored App data by deleting the App, subject to normal iOS backup and restore behavior.

2.5 Support Communications

If you contact us, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your contact details, message, and attachments. We use it to respond, provide support, investigate issues, protect the App, and comply with legal obligations. Please do not send sensitive information that is not needed for your request.

3. Advertising, Analytics, Attribution, and Tracking

The App uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) to request and display App Open, Interstitial, and Native advertisements. Google and participating advertising partners may process identifiers, IP address, approximate location inferred from IP, device and app information, ad requests, impressions, clicks, diagnostics, fraud-prevention signals, and advertising performance information. Depending on your region, consent, device settings, and partner configuration, ads may be personalized, non-personalized, or limited.

The App records limited first-party product and advertising events through our analytics service. These events help us understand whether a feature or advertising scene was reached, measure advertising performance and revenue, diagnose failures, and maintain the App. They are designed not to include the sensitive content listed in Section 2.3.

When the App receives an impression-level advertising value callback, it may send the same advertising value and currency to Meta as a standard Purchase event for advertising measurement. In this context, Purchase represents advertising revenue from an ad impression; it does not mean that you bought anything. Meta may process app, device, event, and advertising measurement information under its own privacy policy and platform settings.

Where Apple's App Tracking Transparency permission is required, the App will request it before accessing the advertising identifier or engaging in tracking as defined by Apple. You may allow or deny the request. Denying tracking does not prevent you from using unrelated App features and does not necessarily prevent contextual, non-personalized, or limited advertising.

We do not send precise Core Location coordinates, camera images, generated photos, city search text, or live compass degrees to advertising partners for targeted advertising.

4. Third-Party Services

4.1 Apple Services

The App may use MapKit, Apple Maps, Core Location, geocoding, traffic information, Look Around, three-dimensional or satellite maps, camera access, device sensors, Photos, and related Apple technologies. Apple's processing is governed by its own terms and privacy policy: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/ and https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/maps/terms-en.html

4.2 Google, YouTube, and AdMob

The App uses the YouTube embedded player and may load YouTube-provided video, thumbnail, title, or player resources. Google and YouTube may receive IP address, device and app context, identifiers made available by their services, and player interactions. The App does not require you to sign in to YouTube and does not request access to your YouTube account.

Google Mobile Ads and participating advertising partners process information needed to deliver, measure, secure, and improve advertising as described in Section 3. For more information, review https://policies.google.com/privacy, https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and https://www.youtube.com/t/terms.

4.3 Windy

The App may use Windy services to discover, aggregate, or display live-camera information in Explore World, Landmark LiveCams, and Live Player recommendations. Windy or the underlying camera provider may process IP address, device and network information, requested content, request time, playback interactions, and diagnostic information under their own terms and privacy practices. Globe Hop analytics does not include the Windy API key or live playback URLs.

4.4 Meta

The App may use Meta App Events for app and advertising measurement, including the advertising-value event described in Section 3. Meta processes information under its own privacy policy and platform terms. For more information, review https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy/

4.5 Hosting, Analytics, and Network Providers

Hosting, analytics, content-delivery, security, diagnostics, and network providers may process standard connection, event, and security information to provide their services to us. We require service providers acting on our behalf to handle information only for the services they provide and subject to applicable contractual and legal obligations.

5. How We Use Information

We use information as reasonably necessary to provide requested features; remember minimal App state; load maps, live video, images, panoramas, and advertising; measure feature and advertising performance; attribute and report advertising value; prevent fraud and abuse; diagnose failures; respond to support and privacy requests; comply with law; and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

6. How Information Is Shared

Information may be processed or disclosed at your direction; to Apple, Google, YouTube, AdMob, Meta, Windy, content providers, and service providers when their services are used; for legal and safety reasons; or as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to applicable law.

We do not sell personal information for money. Some disclosures for advertising or measurement may be considered a sale, sharing, or targeted advertising under certain privacy laws. Where applicable, available consent, opt-out, device, and in-ad controls can be used to exercise those choices.

7. Retention and Deletion

Minimal on-device state remains until removed through an available control or by deleting the App. Saved photos remain in Photos until you delete them. Analytics, advertising, security, diagnostic, and support records are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described, subject to legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, and dispute-resolution requirements. Third parties retain information according to their own policies.

8. Your Choices and Controls

You can deny or revoke Location Services, camera, Photos, and tracking permissions in iOS Settings; use unrelated features without granting a permission; manage advertising choices through consent messages, device settings, and in-ad controls when available; delete locally stored App data by deleting the App; delete generated photos in Photos; manage Google, YouTube, and Meta privacy controls through their services; and contact us to exercise applicable privacy rights for information we control.

9. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed specifically to children under 13, or the minimum age required by applicable law. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information directly to us, contact us. Parents and guardians should supervise a child's use of online video, advertising, maps, location-related features, and camera features.

10. Data Security

We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information we handle. No device, email service, third-party platform, internet transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and reviewing location information before sharing generated photos.

11. International Processing

The providers described in this policy may process information in countries other than where you live. Their processing is subject to their privacy policies, contracts, and applicable legal safeguards.

12. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or obtain a copy of certain personal information; withdraw consent; or opt out of certain sales, sharing, targeted advertising, or tracking. These rights may be subject to legal exceptions. Contact us using the details below. We may need limited information to verify and process your request.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the App, third-party services, data practices, or legal requirements. We will update the Last Updated date when changes are made and provide additional notice or obtain consent where required.
